Surah Al-Kawthar

What is this surah about?

When the Prophet's ﷺ baby sons passed away, his enemies mocked him and said he would be forgotten. Allah comforted him: "We have given you al-Kawthar!" Al-Kawthar is a river in Jannah, with a pool where the believers will drink. So the Prophet ﷺ was told to pray and sacrifice for Allah. It is his enemies who are forgotten, while his name is remembered every day.
